Girdler family respectfully submits fond memories of Jack with our father, Russell Girdler. JAck and "dad" would always argue who actually had the longest nose.....and truly break out a ruler to measure their noses in the Taverns. Our father who was a very good friend of Jack and fellow shuffle board player, always would win their "bets" over their noses (as Dad's was a tad longer.) WHen our father passed in 1979 at age teh young age of 50, Jack was always overly considerate in asking how the...

The Girdler family is so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. My father and I both played many games of shuffleboard with Jack over the last 40+ years. Jack was a very good player, excellent partner and most importantly....a good person! I will miss seeing jack and drawing him for a partner during our shuffleboard matches.
