Jack VandenBerg

Jack was one of my favorite cousins! Always upbeat and lots of fun to around. I miss his smiling face.

Jack was one of my two all-time favorite cousins. He stayed at our house while he attended Barber school in Detroit. I enjoyed staying connected with him through most of his life. What a great guy. Love you Jack.

Dear Pat and family: Me like many others have had Jack as a great friend and my barber for 39 years. We often joked that this was my longest relationship. He lived his faith, was comforting to me this past year when my grandson was diagnosed with a terminal disease, and I always took strength in his words and prayers. To my uncle Jack I love you. Even though we lived soo far away and i did not get to see you very often you were one of my favorite uncles. I remeber the time when I was a little girl staying the night at your and aunt patty's house. I woke up crying because i missed my mom and you were rite there beside me telling me not to worry and that that your mom will be home soon. I can picture your big sweet face there next to mine. Jack was just not My barber for over 30 years He was a good friend. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I just heard about the loss of Jack. He
was such a good friend. He cut my hair for 32 years, I will truly miss him. May God bless his whole family at this time of loss. He is home without a doubt.
