Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the Vanderbeek family, I just came across this notice. I had the pleasure of working with Jack at Illinois Env . He was always kind and considerate and what a Great cook! Always bringing us treats or bringing in a pot of yummy lunch. Rest in Peace friend.

It's been a year now Jack and we all here still miss you! My trips to Menards are not the same without seeing my old friend. It causes me sadness but then I think about you and I leave with a smile on my face. Jack you still have that effect on people even though you are not here with us! You were the best court jester!

Nicole and Debbie and the rest of the family and friends. I'm so sorry for your loss. I just found out. . He was a great guy and truly loved all of you. And also loved the people, including the children, he met at his many jobs. He will truly be missed. My prayers go out for everyone.

I am so sorry to hear of Jack´s passing. He did make life interesting and fun. I will forever remember meeting volunteers Frick and Frack on Sunday nights in the kitchen at the Mission. They were a delight to get to know, " one played with trains and the other was a clown!" Peace be with you Debbie, I know he is missed.

I was sad to hear of Jack's passing and very sorry that I found out about it too late to be able to make it to the memorial service to pay my respects. Jack was a good man, I knew him through church and friends easily. Loved his sense of humor, his clown work and the way he served others for the Lord. I feel bad about losing touch with him these last few years. We used to have small get togethers for food & fellowship with some others from church, it was always a good time, great conversation...

We are all very sorry to receive this news. Jack was a good friend to our family and performed for us several times. He will be missed.

So very sorry to hear of Jack's passing, a neighbor back in the 1970's. It was always fun to run into him and catch up with life. Yes, his time spent with Red Skelton was the thrill of a lifetime for him! This community will miss him greatly.

RIP my friend. Your fellow performers will miss you. Gil Scott
