Rich & Thompson Funeral & Cremation Service - Burlington Obituary

Jack was born on September 9, 1927 and passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Jack was a resident of Graham, North Carolina at the time of his passing. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1955 with his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. A celebration of Jack Wattâs life will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday January 12 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Burlington. The service will be conducted by Dr. Terry Peele and Dr. Dale O. Steele. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday. At other times they will be at the residence. In lieu of flowers contributions made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund 400 S. Broad Street Burlington NC 27215 or to either of the following scholarships.

Was saddened to hear of Jack's death. Had the pleasure of knowing and working with Jack through the North Carolina School Boards Association. His thoughtfulness and willingness to share with others was always appreciated. May God sustain you in your time of loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing! He was a great friend of my mother & had a lot to do with my becoming a pharmacist. He signed my high school diploma when I graduated from WHS & signed my pharmacy license. What a wonderful man & mentor!

We were deeply saddened to hear of Jack's passing. Jack was a great mentor to me when I came onto the board of Pharmacy. We will always remember the kindness and friendship he and Eloise showed us, and will always cherish the memories of the great times we shared on our trips together.
