I met Jack “the banker” just a couple years ago when I joined the Thursday Scramble league. From day one he treated me like an old friend. As treasurer he collected our money each week and distributed our winnings. Sometimes he was either short or ahead a couple of bucks which always made us chuckle. Jack was a kind and gentle soul. May he Rest In Peace in a place where all putts are gimmies.
