From The Post family to The Whortons family: We will always remember and love Jack. And, all of you. Doug Post & Family

Dear Whorton Family,

I am saddened but also celebrate with you the wonderful life of your father, and our friend, Jack. He was a bright and loving spirit, a sharp wit and intellect, and warm, welcoming, and compassionate man. He loved life, had a splendid mind, liberal thinker, great sense of humor, and made me feel good to be around him and the family. I feel blessed and inspired to have known him and to grow up around the family. Love to all of you.

Mr. Whorton,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dearest Dona and children-
How sad I was to learn of the loss of your precious Jack. When someone you love dies, it leaves an empty spot in your hearts which could never be filled by any other person. What a wonderous gift we have from god in the gift of memories. When you close your eyes, you can see and remember Jack just as he was when he was happy and healthy. Soon, in a new world of god's making, all pain, suffering and sickness will be gone forever. Until then, I will keep you in...

To the Whorton family, I really am sorry for the loss of your Father. He was a man with spirit and that smile and laugh that I will never forget. He always welcomed us into his house and never complained. He will be missed but I will always remember him and the good times that we all had on Juniper Avenue. Jill Weiman Tally, Alexandria MN
