Linda, I remember your father from my short time with the Middletown Fire Dept. He was a good man. If it were not for him I might not have gotten hired. I will always remember him fondly.

Cherice and family. So sorry to hear about your Dad passing away. Sounds like your Dad had a wonderful and fulfilling life and served his country and his community very well. Cherice, you were such a blessing to your Dad. You honored him in a great and mighty way by taking care of him and the Lord has blessed you for it. May the Lord comfort you, keep you, and place His ever-loving arms around you during this time of sorrow. Praying for you.

So very sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers, and I want to thank you all for sharing Jack with the rest of us. Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give, but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in the hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.
