Jack Benjamin Zito Ph.D.

Today, as I was transposing one of Jack's stories from my magazine, I Googled his name and thus learned of his death two years ago. I was very sad to think time and distance had separated two good friends, which now will be forever. I knew Jack as my track and cross country co-coach at Bayport-Blue Point High School on Long Island in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was also a contributor to my magazine, ISLANDWIDE RUNNER. Over the years, Jack and I shared many humorous adventures...

I am just reading this November 1, 2018. I am so very sorry to find that Jack is gone. He was a good friend in high school. We kept in touch as old friends do. The last time I saw him he came to Houston for a visit and gave me his album, The Isotope Stompers. Jack was one in a million and will Be surely missed.
