Not sure what to say?

Remembering Jackie on this day. You really do not know how fast a year can go until something like this comes up. Any way. I know you have been having a ball with all of your family. We all sure do miss you here.
Love You

My sincere condolences to my friend and neighbor's family and loved ones. I just found out today as I am in the Iraqi desert without any phone service. I will never forget how many times (every time I spoke with him) that Jackie offered to help me do anything that I might need next door. God Bless a fine man and his family.

Uncle Jackie. I know you are in a far better place. You are with the rest of the Gilbert clan in a massive family reunion.
I want to ask you to forgive me for not coming and working out with you. I should have taken the time to get to know the person who my Granny Flossie thought so much of. Along with Uncle George. I love you.

May God bless you and comfort you in your time of sorrow and beyond.

Mary Evelyn, I just now saw in the obit section of New Sentinel where you lost Jack to his heavenly home. Freddie told me he was in bad shape.
Know I love you dearly, & know what you're experiencing now.
Wish I could be there for you but in Atlanta.
I'll talk to you later. You are in my heart.
Ellie Early

Sissy, Karen and Leslie, I know Jackie's passing has left a big empty place in your hearts, but we must rejoice in the knowledge that he is finally at rest and he will be waiting to greet you all in heaven. We love you all.

May Almighty God continue to have mercy on the Gilbert family. Fortunately I had the pleasure of being one of several sparring partners at Tuckahoe market. A member of Skeen family.
