Not sure what to say?

I never got to know Jackie very well as we worked different times, but he was always happy when I did see him. And besides handheld #7, there's another legacy that he left at Richmond Beach, that being the jacket hanging beside the freezer in the back room. I was told on the day that I was hired, that Jackie left it there in case anyone who had to go into the freezer needed it. It's still there and hopefully always will be. Thanks for everything Jackie, we won't be the same without you.

Dear Eleanor and Family,

My heart aches for you and yours. Jackie wore a smile and friendly whenever I saw him.
May he run through the sports fields in heaven, playing with family and friends.

Sending my love and a big hug,
Tracie Gross Ott

Although life has a way leading people in different directions I feel fortunate to have grown up with Jackie and the Nelson family through Little League sports during our childhood . I can still picture (and hear) our parents cheering us on from the sidelines , as Jackie ran for another touchdown . What a family , each and everyone of them , there for each other and by extension the rest of us , with encouragement , grace , and respect . Rest in Peace brother Nelson 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Jackie was a wonderful guy, he possessed an unending kindness, a terrific personality and generosity. playing with him on the pitch for the last 9 years was always a treat, he will be missed on and off the field. I know he helped make life better for everyone who could call him family or a friend and I will never forget him.

Sorry to hear this. I played football with Jackie in little league. He was always a bright light to be around. Always had a big smile on his face. Also a very good athlete.

Alluring Elegance Bouquet

In loving memory of an outstanding person and "Alpha Brother." We will love you and miss you always.

I know of Jackie through a storyboard Eleanor put together to share with her team at work. We loved seeing the pictures of Eleanor and Jackie on vacation and in their Husky fanwear and hearing about their life together. Eleanor and family, we are so very sorry for your loss. You are in the thoughts and prayers of many. Peace be with you.

Eleanor, I will see Jackie's smile forever. He was and will remain a treasure to all of us.
