Chapel services for Mr. Jackie Eugene Nix will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home.

Interment services will follow at the Shadowlawn Cemetery with Military Honors.

I have known, Yes, I have known and loved my brother in arms Jackie Nix since 1967 on the USS Intrepid (CVS 11). He was always a wheeler dealer but never had an ax to grind with anyone. We met several times in our naval career and enjoyed a few memories and laughs. God bless you Jackie. I love you. MAX
