Not sure what to say?

Jake, You were such a great friend to my late husband, Bill. You both passed within two months. How strange!! I remember you coming over to our house and saying, “Hey Buddy! with a huge smile. I feel like you two are together, somehow, still friends even now. Whenever I stop to see Bill at the cemetery, I make sure to say hello to you also, since you’re only a few feet away. How nice that you can both be close. We miss you!!

It is hard to believe that 4 years have passed since Jake left this world. He was a great guy who brought cheer everywhere he went. I am truly glad that I knew and had spent time with him. He is missed but not forgotten.

I was very sad to see Jake's name in Connections Magazine. I will always have very fond memories of him from my economics classes. God bless and my deepest condolences.

Biggest Hart in NY....Love and miss you buddy

Jessica, Arlene next door just told me about Jake and I can not believe it! First Bill, now Jake! I am so sorry! If you ever need to talk, feel free to bring the girls over. Jake was a wonderful man and always smiling.
Love, Susan Moore

To Jake's Family,

I met Jake through business while he worked for Winters Thermoguage. I always enjoyed the time we spent together...his sense of humor and love of life were infectious. My heart goes out to you at this time of lose. Hold tight to the good memories, they will help you.

First a great salesman when we bought land along Portaferry. Then a trusted advisor regarding the delicate maneuvers needed to build and plan. And finally not long thereafter a friend, confidant, and fellow traveler in the ups and downs of a life lived aggressively but passionately and empathically.
A disarming smile, a fatalistic shrug and a dedication to the women in his household, we bow our heads and try but fail to make any sense of it all

Jessica,

Tony, Wyette, Lexie and I are so sorry for your loss of jake. He was a great dad, husband, friend and cousin. He was one of a kind, his smile was contagious and infectious and I am going to miss seeing post of him doing the marathons. Sorry that we can't make it to his services but we want you to know that you and the girls are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely, Amber, Tony, Wyette and Lexie
