Not sure what to say?

My most sincere condolences to the Biber family.
Jacob Biber was a very special man as I am sure they know but I must say it as well.
My Mother Betty Prusak was one of the orphans Jacob Biber taught in the Displaced Persons camp in Germany.
It was one of her greatest joys when through one of his books she found him in Pembroke Pines. Luckily she lived nearby and their friendship was reborn. She felt as if she had found a family member after all those years.
My Mom passed...

I am a paramedic with Medics Ambulance. I had transported Mr Biber on occasion. One of his sons passed on a copy of Survivors to me. I take the few short moments I have with my patients to try and learn from them. I am constantly amazed by the impact each persons own life can have on my own. Thank you for the glimpse into your world. Rest well, Jared

To my Dearest Jacob,
I'm sitting hear at my table thinking about you.I just can't believe you are gone one year. I miss you so very much it hurts. The jokes you would tell me every day at your home would always make me laugh and brighten up my day. You will always be in my heart Jacob, I Love and miss you Denise Vaccaro

Just today I came across a copy of his first book The Survivors and it made me remember when I worked for him in 1972 at the egg farm. In later years I would see him and Eva at Robert Glass auctions after they opened the store. He was such a wonderful man and treated his workers very well. I had not...

What a pleasure I had in knowing Mr. Jacob Biber for a few years later in his life. I will cherish his kindness, his stories and his faith in humanity. As a grandchild of German Jews, he was inspiring to me as I spoke to many people about him. I will keep my signed copy of Survivors forever along with the signed book of poetry and I will pass on his stories to others.
Fondly,
Dr. Chad Frank

What a perfect
world it would be if the world had more people in it like your father.I remember fondly working for your family,it was like everyone there was made to feel like they were family. The many things learned from Jake over the years followed me into my adult years and I honestly think I am a better person for having known him.How nervous I was following this man through out his store while he talked about what he wanted done that day(because of his strong...
