Not sure what to say?

I will miss Uncle Jake a great deal, even though it has been 20 years since I have seen him. He is one man whom you cannot think of without smiling!

His jokes and stories are too numerous to even remember. What I can remember though is the laughter and smiles that ALWAYS surrounded him when he was in a room.

I am sure EVERYONE will include him as thier favorite uncle...he definitely was one of mine. I am just sorry I was not able to see him more often...!

A very special, funny, wonderful cousin. He leaves many beautiful memories and will be sadly missed.
Our condolences to all his family members.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
John and Sandy Braun

We had left Sunday morning, on a short holiday. We were shocked when a text came to us at noon, to say Jake had passed away. We both loved to visit with Jake, and hear his many jokes. Our condolences to the family.

To the Braun Family:... Jake was one of my "older" cousins..and I never got to know him that well...but I remember that my dad...his uncle Henry, always spoke fondly of Jake. Now and then I would meet him in a coffee shop, or perhaps a family gathering....and he would always greet me with a friendly hello... I will miss that!!!

To all Jake's family heartfelt sympathy to each of you. He was such a great person. He remained positive through his previous health issues and did overcome them.....which showed his inner strength. He brought joy through his wit and humor. Jake pursued with keeping the extended family together by organizing family reunions. We thank you Jake for doing this for our family. Jake knew so much history and took the time to share it. It is so hard to believe that such a good man' s heart...

Jake sharing his version of history - he knew it well. We will remember Jake for his wit, jovial nature, and good heart.. Sincerest sympathy.

Jake will never be truly gone - we will always have Jake to remember - he was too great a person to ever forget.

Jake and brother John - at the 2007 Reunion. Once the Reunions began Jake was eager to keep them going. He was a great inspiration to all of us.

Jake with his family and Aunt Helen. I first met this wonderful cousin at the first Braun Reunion in 2002 - not soon enough.
