I just watched the video of James fulfilling his promise. I am so sorry for your families loss and grateful for men like Jacob who give their all for our great country. Our family will never forget him.

To the family and friends of Sgt. Jacob L. Butler:
It has truly been my honor to sign Jacob's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Jacob will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy

To the Butler Family,
10 years is a long time to be without your loved one. Know we will NOT forget. You are in our prayers today and always.
The Murchison Family

I miss Jake as much now as I did then. It is so hard to believe ten years have went by. I will never forgive myself for not being able to catch up with him the weekend before he left. I was only able to hear his voice as we said our goodbyes on the phone. I love you Jake and you will not be forgotten. Aunt Doreen

I want to present this to you for the tremendous things you have done for our country Sgt. Butler. R.I.P.

Think of you Jake Butler you will be missed and you were like a brother to me I will miss you much
