Jake and his lovely wife, Rosemary were neighbors in Stone Mt, Ga in 1968. We became great friends that extended `till Jake´s death in 2011. Sadly, contact with Rosemary was lost until I unexpectedly discovered her obit from 2019. They were a loving and interesting couple whose friendship I will cherish. Clifford M. (Mack) Kerley

Petey,as he was known then, drove from Auburn to Kooskia, ID with me where we worked for the forest service in the summer of 1955. I've lost track of most of my fraternity brothers and was sad to read in the Auburn Magazine of his death.

Much love to the Caldwell family. I send my love and support to all who mourn his loss and cherish his memory.

May you and other family members take the good times you remember with Jake and let these memories inspire each of...

Jake and I went through CV 880 school together. Later flew on trips, he as an engineer, and I as a co-pilot. He was a great guy. Sorry to hear of his passing.
