Jacob "Jake" Felix M.D.

I just heard the sad news. Jake recruited me to the Division of Neonatalogy in 1993, right out of fellowship. He was a wonderful mentor and a wise and kind man. He cared deeply about his staff. I remember the holiday parties he through at his house with his lovely wife Jeanette. Jake started what is the NICU at Sinai after arriving here in 1979, and we just dedicated a new state of the art NICU in February of 2021. His legacy here will ALWAYS live on!

Love to you Nette. He was such a handsome man and offered so much to the world. Your write up was well done. I´m thinking of you and family today.
