I am so sorry to hear this. Many years ago we worked on a case together. He was also an outstanding president of the South Carolina Bar and longtime member of the House of Delegates. He was a friend of the common man and a strong supporter of due process.

He will be greatly missed . I was his neighbor at his parents old farm.

Miss Jane Marie!! This is Pauline's great-granddaughter; Brende' is my mother. I was looking for the obituary of a dear family friend and found that Mr. Jennings just passed this week. Very sorry to learn of the death of Jake Jennings, but he had a very full, complete, and wonderful life, both personally and professionally. His devotion to Jane Marie was unsurpassed, and he was a wonderful family man. He was an outstanding lawyer as well. Jake and I had many dealings in the legal profession over the years as fellow lawyers and in the South Carolina Bar where we both served as President.
