JACOB MATTHEW KNIGHT
2003-2008

Jacob went to be with Lord April 24, 2008. He was surrounded by his family and his parents holding him. Jacob was born January 14, 2003 in Santa Maria, California to Matthew and Cecilia Knight.
In October of 2005 it was discovered that Jacob had brain cancer. His family did everything humanly possible to find a cure. Jacob was treated in Fresno for a year, also in San Francisco and Houston. Jacob was a beautiful child and bravely fought this battle with cancer daily. He was an inspiration to all! Jacob attended pre-school at Marian Children's Center. Jacob loved riding his quad runner at Mussell Fort. He also loved his video games, riding in the hummer and he absolutely adored his sisters.
In Jacob's short time on earth he touched so many lives and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Jacob is survived by his loving parents, Matthew and Cecilia, his adoring sisters, Khara and Madison Knight, maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Anthony and Olivia San Diego, paternal grandparents, Len and Dorothy Knight all of Santa Maria. Jacob is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Celine M. San Diego.
Viewing hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary and funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday April 30, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Pacific Christian Center, 3435 Santa Maria way, Santa Maria, CA. Burial will follow in Santa Maria Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jacob's memory to any Children's Hospital.
Arrangements are under the care of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary and Crematory.

Dear Knight Family - Thank you. Thank you for sharing Jacob with us and allowing us to be a part of his precious time here. That amazing smile and those bright eyes will never be forgotten.
