I was a swim team Mom timer and Jake was always pumping up the team and having fun and looking out for his sister. His death was probably one of the first that the other kids experienced at such a young age, hitting home that life can be short. Continued prayers to you all on this day.

I think the most important thing for me to say now that it's 2022 and Jake passed in 2014 and even knowing him for only a few months, I think of him regularly. I Play guitar with a lot of people and have for many years. Jake was an individual who clearly had an inborn gift relative to guitar. He told me that he was mostly a bass player and he hadn't spent much time practicing and getting to where he'd like to be with guitar.
