Dear Suzanne and friends. I just heard the news and am heartbroken. Jack was an extraordinarily important person in my life and I will always remember our years together at Bard with great fondness. Blessings to you all.

To the Neusner Family,I was not fortunate enough to meet Mr. Neusner, but I could see in his lovely daughter, Margalit, that he must have done a great job raising her. The glimmer in her eye must surely have been a reflection of him.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss.
Sincerely,
Steven Stark

I grew up with Jack, went to school with him through Hall High. He was one of my closest friends growing up. We had fun all through those years and I will always cherish those years and our time together and our friendship.. I spent many hours at his house on asylum ave with him and his parents of blessed memory. He taught me much and I taught him how to have fun. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss-

Professor Neusner was much loved by countless students at Bard College. He was an incredible man with a good heart who often spoke lovingly and proudly of his dear wife and family. May God bless him.
