Jacob Anthony Presnell, 25, of Ebro, Fla., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010.

He was born Jan. 11, 1985, in Pensacola, Fla., to Gregory Richard Presnell and Lisa Wehmeir Clark. Jake graduated from Vernon High School, Vernon, Fla., in 2003, where he was letterman with varsity football team for three years. He was married to his high school sweetheart, the love of his life and best friend, Leslie Strickland Presnell, in 2007. Jake enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, working out and spending time with family and friends. Jake was one who would have done anything for anyone. He will be missed dearly.

Jake was preceded in death by his loving grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie Presnell of Ebro, Fla.; father, Gregory R. Presnell and wife, Linda; mother, Lisa W. Clark and husband, Michael; two brothers, Joshua P. Presnell and wife, Kenzie and Joseph G. Presnell and wife, Erin, of Freeport, Fla.; stepbrother, Richard Flowers of Niceville, Fla.; two stepsisters, Shelley Johnson of Freeport, Fla., and Melissa Powell of Bruce, Fla.; and serveral aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at Spring Valley Holiness Church with the Rev. Doug Wehmeier, Willie Meggs, Joshua Presnell and John Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Ebro Cemetery in Ebro, Fla., with Brown Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 17, 2010, at Spring Valley Holiness Church in Ebro, Fla. Those asked to serve as active pallbearers are Cale Powel, Toney Strickland, Shane Johnson, Dax Fryer, Drew Fryer, Kevin Johnson, Carl Seley, Alan Seley and Neil Densman. I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers will be with all of you. I only knew Jake as a child but know he was a wonderful man and will be truly missed.

I'll remember the gokart rides, the hours spent playing in the woods, BB gun wars, baseball season, football season, and most of all your laugh will never be forgotten. It always put a smile on anyones face.
