Jacob Todd “Jake” Roach, 64, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Junior and Susie Roach.
Jake grew up in Lepanto until age 16, then moved to Lynn before settling in Jonesboro in 1979. He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. Jake was an animal lover, especially fond of dogs, and he enjoyed listening to music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Kevin Gail and Danna Belle; sister-in-law, Ginny Roach; and his beloved dog, Penny.
Survivors include his brother, Will Roach of Jonesboro, along with numerous other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held Monday, November 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00–1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Jake never failed to make laugh and on Thanksgiving loved to play the song, Breakfast at Alice´s. Try it playing this year for your TG in honor of Him, and have a laugh with Jake, he´d love it. Hugs to you Will, wish I could be there in person.
