URBANA – Celebration of Life services for Jacob J. "Jake" Saathoff Sr., 71, of Urbana will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at Grace Lutheran Church, 313 S. Prospect, Champaign. The Rev. Roger Digges will officiate.
Burial will be in Beckman Cemetery, near Thomasboro.

I worked with Jake at the Gazette for many years and we became good friends. He introduced me to trap shooting and we were part time deputies at the Sheriff Dept. He was a loyal and trusted friend and I will miss him. Bless all of you
