Lebanon, NH—Jacob Michael Thibodeau “Jake” 23 of Lebanon passed away at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center on Sunday evening, Oct. 10, 2010 due to injuries he received in a dirt bike accident on Saturday October 9, 2010 while riding with best friend Nate Minard. He was born at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover on August 29, 1987 to Traci (Schwarz) Thibodeau and William Thibodeau of Lebanon. Jacob attended Lebanon Schools, graduating in June 2005. Jacob was a Beautiful young man with a heart of gold and a smile that would brighten anyone’s day. He was a very giving person, always willing to help others in need and never asking for anything in return. His love for his family and friends came first in his life. Jake was passionate about so many things but mostly rebuilding his trucks, cars, bikes basically anything with a motor, if he was not working on his vehicles he could be found helping his friends work on theirs. Jake just loved life. He learned to ride his first dirt bike at the age of four and was a very experienced rider. He loved hill climbing, motorcycle riding, snowmobiles, basically riding or driving anything with a motor. He also enjoyed snowboarding, music, making his own raps to songs and playing his drums, but mostly hanging out with his family, friends and his dog Cody known affectionately known as “Roo Roo”. We know in our hearts that Jake did not want Nate to be alone on his journey so he chose to go with him, he gave the greatest gift in life, his own, knowing that all of his loved ones left behind would understand. Survivors include his mother and father William and Traci Thibodeau, his brother Sgt. Joshua A. Thibodeau “Joshie”of the U.S. Army and his girl friend Jaime L. Page of Burlington, VT, his sister Nichole L. Thibodeau “sis” of Lebanon and her two sons (uncle Jake’s little buddies) Christopher age 6, Connor age 3 and his dog Cody. He also leaves behind other best friends (known as his buds) Joey Laundry a cousin, Riley Charbono a cousin, Jason Thibodeau a cousin, Adam Durgin, Toby Plante, Derek Hussey, Davey Lyons and Travis Nugent, his aunt Toni, aunt Ronni and uncle Mike whom Jake was very close to, other aunts include Lynn Lalumiere, Jackie Schwarz, Toni Feldstein, Nancy Thibodeau, Julie Thibodeau, his uncles, Michael and Lincoln Schwarz, Richard Landry and Ronald Charbono, several other aunts, uncles, cousins and his many, many friends.
