Not sure what to say?

Hey buddy. Gosh, it´s been a long time. I´ve been talking about our old high school days tonight and thought about us driving around, blasting My Chemical Romance, singing out loud like crazed idiots and me trying to flirt with girls at random stop lights lol. Those were really amazing times and I´m thankful I was able to enjoy them with you.

The 2nd year has been even harder than the first. For reasons you can't understand unless you have been there.Jake was such an amazin' young man. The billboards were a no-brainer. He would never have wanted any of us to go thru this. Please check out our website at clickit4life.net Much love, KK's mom (Jake)

Jake Jake Jake......Show my grandma around, she would also LOVE to meet you, I talked about you constantly.....Let her know also that the family will be okay!!!!! I miss u too. I just hate death. and since you've past its been everywhere...I just think of you everytime.....I miss u lots and love ya tons!!!

Jerry and family -- was thinking about you all today... going through some old photos from Christmas' past with little Jake in them. Wanted to let you know you're all still in my prayers... we all still think of Jake and grieve for you and your loss. I have seen the billboards and actually saw the news interview with Jake's mom when I was in Canton a while back... I hope Jake helps save a life... what a beautiful memorial to him... what a handsome man you raised. Much love, April

I am so fotunate to have met the Thompson's for I only met Jake a couple of times he will be in my heart eternally, what a lovely family and it is an honor to work with you. I pointed out his billboard the other day to my 13 year old cousin and her friends and I know it made an impact.
Keep up the good spirits, God Bless
J'Vette S.

Blessings to all of the family and friends. Since we beleive that Jesus died and then came back to life again, we can also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him all the Christians who have died.So shall we ever be with the Lord. I Thessalonians 4:14, 17

To Jake's family,
I am so glad to have found this site. My name is Regina and I am writing this because I was there, a very close witness on December 26, 2005. I was traveling with my 4 sons that afternoon to eat a belated Christmas Dinner with my brother, Jerry. Though I never knew of Jake before, those last few moments are with me every second. If Jake's family or anyone is open, please contact me so I can find some peace in grieving for Jake. God Bless!

I woke up 3 weeks before Jake's birthday with his face on a billboard. I couldn't get it out of my head,so I decided God must have a plan. After lots of help from family, friends and some I don't even know it happened. His face is all over the metroplex. For your part to continue Jake's campaign for seatbelt use please check out my space @kk's mom (Terri Hoover). Thanks for remembering our beautiful boy.

I saw your billboard on I 30 yesterday after dropping our daughter off at Love field. It struck me as such a wonderful way to try to have some good come out of a tragic situation. I decided that I wanted to find out who Jake Thompson was and send his parents a note. I didn't know that you are right here in my backyard. I, too am a member of Lakepointe and I grew up 30 minutes out of Sweetwater, TX. Thanks for putting your message up for all to see and for keeping Jake's memory alive.
