Read MoreI was just thinking about Jake today and did a search and I am so sad to hear of his passing. I worked in a program in Syracuse and knew him many years ago now. I am a recording and performing artist in the US and abroad and my spirit will miss him even as the earth does.

So sorry to hear this sad news - I so respected his tireless work on behalf of the community as well as how much he valued family. We fondly remember visits with him and Geralda when Tonya lived with them years ago. Our sincere condolences, the Ackley-Speights family.
