Surrounded by her family, on February 25, 2016. Age 83. (nee Simonin) Of West Deptford, formerly of Brooklawn. Loving and devoted wife of 56 years to the late Joseph G. Amato. Loving mother of Joseph Jay Amato (Debra), James J. Amato (Cathy) and Jackie Lynn Imperato (Robert). Cherished grandmother of Kristie Spaeth (Matt), Alexandra Amato, Nicholas Amato, Danielle Amato, Michele Imperato and Gina Imperato. Also survived by many loving brother and sister-in-laws and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private in Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Monroe Twp.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jackie was one of my favorite patients/friends for many years. She will be greatly missed, by me and many,many others.

I want to extend my condolences for the passing of Jackie to her immediate family.Jackie,Joseph and James and their spouses and children.Your mother will sorely missed by myself even though I, only new her since 1995.She was a joy to work with at Ponzio,s then becoming a dear friend to me and my late wife Beverly.May she now be in a better place now since the last year was not her best.God bless your family and hopefully with all your memories you will be smiling remembering them for the days...

Will miss the talks Jackie and I shared every week while doing her hair and the bottle of water I had to take even if I didn't want it love the lady she was prays and hugs I send to her family who she loved . Love your favorite hairdresser/ friend Jayne

Jackie, Rob and extended family, our deepest sympathy during this time of great loss. In the short time that we knew her we realized there was no denying her love for her family. She was so proud of her kids and grandchildren. Every room was filled with pictures of them from her family filled life. Each opportunity we had with her was filled with stories and braggings about where her family was and what they were doing. There is no doubt that her family's love continued to carry her...

Joe, Debra, Jim and Jackie, Just read about your mother's passing in the newspaper. Mrs. Amato was a positive role model to me as a young child and teenager. I have many fond memories of travelling to the seashore with Joe and Debra, meeting up with the Amatos at the Matador in Wildwood, shopping trips at the Deptford Mall every Saturday, delicious dinners too numerous to count, and all of the support given to me as a young girl from your mom. I will never forget all of the wonderful ...

Jackie and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother. I was just fixing my March birthdays, and was thinking of her. I opened the paper tonight and saw the sad news. She was a loving and generous person.
