Surrounded by her family, on February 25, 2016. Age 83. (nee Simonin) Of West Deptford, formerly of Brooklawn. Loving and devoted wife of 56 years to the late Joseph G. Amato. Loving mother of Joseph Jay Amato (Debra), James J. Amato (Cathy) and Jackie Lynn Imperato (Robert). Cherished grandmother of Kristie Spaeth (Matt), Alexandra Amato, Nicholas Amato, Danielle Amato, Michele Imperato and Gina Imperato. Also survived by many loving brother and sister-in-laws and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private in Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Monroe Twp.

Jackie, Rob and extended family, our deepest sympathy during this time of great loss. In the short time that we knew her we realized there was no denying her love for her family. Joe, Debra, Jim and Jackie, Just read about your mother's passing in the newspaper. Mrs. Amato was a positive role model to me as a young child and teenager.
