Not sure what to say?

Oh Wow! I can´t believe you´re gone Jax. I was just looking you up on FB and your obituary appeared. This is so hard to believe. I knew Jackie when she was Jackie Dabbs, (I always called her Jax). We were stationed in Pearl Harbor at the Makalapa clinic. I loved hanging out, or going shopping, with her. She was always up for an adventure. She was a great role model at work too. She made her life her own. I´m so happy for her, she had many adventures, touched many lives and...

We have the watch.

Shared on the USN Hispital Corpsman Facebook page. Sorry for your loss, well done Doc your shipmates will take the watch from here. (HM2 71-75)

Going to miss our carpools to Trenton for DVOP meetings and the humorous conversations to and from there:) Rest in Peace!!

Jackie was one of my best friends. We met in the 1980 in the Navy in San Diego. She got there and I thought she was a spoiled brat, well we became best friends and roommates. I have a lot of great memories of our times together. She was so spontaneous. I remember her coming into my office one Friday morning and saying pack your bags we are going to Jersey for the weekend and I laughed. Well we went to Jersey for the weekend and I got to meet her family, they treating me like family. I...

Jackie fought a contagious battle. May she now rest in peace. I was proud to call her my friend

Jackie was the absolute best. I worked with her briefly at the Wildwood DOL office, her longtime station. I didn't get to know her for long, but a few things struck me about her. The Navy made its mark on her: she was forthright in her determination to do her job and do it well. She was not afraid to take the lead and do what needed doing, even if that might mean stepping out of her assigned role. She actually ended up having her job description changed to accommodate what she was...

Jackie was a fellow DVOP that I saw at our annual training in Trenton. Jackie was always polite and kept a smile on her face. I would joke with her about working in Cape May, especially during the summer and she would laugh. To Jackie's family, thanks for sharing her with us. May she rest in peace.

We will miss you. I enjoyed working with you. You always went the extra miles for the Vets...Thank you for your Service...Rest in Peace...
