Jacqueline Fournier

FOURNIER, JACQUELINE K. (ROACH) Age 88, of Swartz Creek, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday February 11, 2026 with her children at her side. 

Funeral service will be held Monday February 16, 2026, at 11:00am at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Rd., Flint MI., Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating. 

Burial service at Sunset Hills Cemetery will follow. 

Visitation will take place on Sunday February 15 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Swartz Funeral Home. 

Jackie was born in Flint, MI on January 12, 1938, the daughter of Katy and Jack Roach. She was a resident of Flint, Grand Blanc, and Swartz Creek. After graduating from Flint Technical High School in 1955, she worked at Chevrolet-Flint Mfg. as a Secretary in the Education and Training Dept. On August 23, 1958, Jackie married Bob Fournier. They were married for 53 ½ years until his passing in 2012. She left Chevrolet after 6 years to devote her life to her husband and two children. Jackie was a very caring person with a big heart. She routinely put others before herself and was a caretaker for many years to Bob, her parents, an aunt and an uncle. 

She is survived by daughter Shari (George) Martini of Swartz Creek, son David (Lilian) Fournier of Mason OH; 6 grandchildren – Andrew (Sarah), Brian, and Christopher Martini and Lauren, Audrey, and Grace Fournier; brothers-in-law Gordon (Ann) Fournier and Al (Marilyn) Trudeau; special lifelong and dear friends Beverly and Jerry Bergler; and many other loving family members and friends. 

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Bob, parents Katy and Jack Roach, sister Patricia Buczek, brothers-in-law Jerry Look, Walt Buczek, Harold Fournier, Gerald Fournier, and sister-in-law Arlene Trudeau.
