Not sure what to say?

I have many fond memories of Jackie from our times at Women´s Week at Waycross. I miss her! Mary Challman

Oh Jackie , I just found out today (July 15) that you are gone. I will miss out texts about politics, books, Masterpiece, movies and so much more. I will always cherish your friendship and our time together swimming at the Y and our meeting up for coffee and lunches. I missed you so much after I moved to Atlanta. I will never forget you. Donna

I was saddened to learn of the passing of my dear childhood friend, Jackie. So many wonderful fond memories of growing up in our small town. Sock hops, poodle skirts, slumber parties, and the first generation for girls to wear blue jeans to school! She told me that she had written her remembrances of her youth and life in Tell City in the 1940´s and 50´s, so that she could share them with her family and friends. I first met Jackie 25 years ago at a Women’s Week retreat at Waycross Episcopal Camp and Conference Center. She was lovely—friendly, enthusiastic, bright and
a wonderful companion. Even though we only saw each other once each year for
four days I consider her a dear friend who will be greatly missed.

On behalf of the WHAS Crusade for Children, we are very sorry for your loss. It is people like Jacqueline who have made it possible for the Crusade to help children with special needs for over 67 years. Thank you for honoring her memory by remembering the WHAS Crusade for Children. Her legacy will be seen for years to come through the lives of children who are helped. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I first met Jackie a few years ago in the Wathen Heights neighborhood. She was pretty with a head full of white hair and a light blue walking outfit. When I was invited to join the Jeffersonville Study Club, Jackie was one who really made me feel welcome. She had an avid interest in learning and a fun way of presenting information to our group. She will be greatly missed by all of us. You, her beloved family, are in my prayers as I seek comfort and peace for you.
