GILLIAM, Jacqueline Thompson, 62, of Richmond, was called home on Saturday, July 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Phillis A. Thompson. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Deacon Clarence E. Gilliam; daughter, Traci E. Gilliam; son, C. Eric Gilliam (Catherine); six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn T. Winn; aunts and uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and where family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral service 1 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at St. John Baptist Church, 4317 North Ave. Rev. Dr. Michael Felton officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The Lord is trully the comforter in times of sorrow..............To Clarence, Carolyn, Traci and Eric. I was saddened when I heard about your loss of Jacqueline, your beloved. It is so hard when that person leaves your presence and you miss seing, hearing and talking with them like you used to. But it is such a relief to know that you will be reunited on day in heaven.
