Jacqueline Lorraine "Jacque" Hammons

Jacque was my oldest cousin. My mother, Nell Lorraine Hoyt Robison (they shared a middle name) was Jacque´s aunt. Nell was the youngest of her generation, as Jacque was the eldest of hers. They were only 9 years apart, and shared a childhood more common to cousins than aunt and niece. Due to our age differences, I only met Jacque a few times, and we didn´t become correspondents until Nell´s death in 2003. I worked with Jacque at the City of Anacortes maintenance building for several years, and she was always cheery and polite. A very nice lady and friend.
