Not sure what to say?

Jackie and my MOM were best friends and grew up together . Jackie outlived my mother by 26 years, always telling me how much she missed her. Jackie was a delight to talk to, even until recently. Her BOSTON accent was such a treat to listen to. Jackie was a devoted golf fan, watching it very frequently. I asked her about golf and she told me golf stories about her and her husband Paul playing long ago. I will miss her and the conversations we had.

What an amazing woman, living to 100. I visited with Jackie a few years ago on a trip back to my hometown of Hancock. It was such an enjoyable visit, she helped answer questions I had about my childhood. Jackie was a good friend to my mother. For that I am so grateful. At the visit her mind was sharp, her body still so agile and her memory was like it was just yesterday. Her daughter Caroline and I were friends in our younger years, I remember dinner at Jackies was often scallop potatoes...

So sorry to hear of your moms passing. She was a dear friend of my Grandmother, Lillian Schafer, and my Moms.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Mother. She was always so kind to me when Caroline and I would play Barbies together in the tiny back yard of her mother's home in Greenville. I've thought of all of you over the years. Good memories.
