Not sure what to say?

My Dearest Friends, Betty Lou, Ian, Kaylyn & family,
We want to express our deepest sympathy in the passing of Jackie. Little did I know that when I met you Betty [in 1979] I would also become friends with your Mom and move into our first home one house away from your parents on Sereno
Avenue. Your Mom and you sparked my love for gardening and entering flower arrangements and plants in the County Fair. I love you all.
Sincerely, Jan, Michael, Summer & Karly Hansen

We were very saddened to learn of Jackie's death. She was a frequent part of my life (George Maguire) especially during the fifties. Her dad and my dad (Joe Maguire) were the best of friends and I had the honor of seeing and talking to her and her husband Bill Kelly. I would look forward to seeing them when Dad would tell me they were coming by.
I had to tell my family that Jackie has a bench named after her at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in the garden section.

My heart felt love to the family. I am somewhat an honorary Strobel. Jackie was always so kind to me. Special love to Donna and cousin Billy.

"Auntie Jackie" will always be remembered fondly with a smile in our hearts. She was an amazing lady and always had interesting stories and information to share. I hope she has a good time up there with all her loved ones, as well as Lucia Martinez-Lopez (my M-I-L) and my Lenore (Nor) Martinez-Castro. My thoughts and prayers are with each of her family members.

Our dearest GiG,
You are a beautiful butterfly now and our PaPa is our stardust. You will be in our hearts forever.
A Hui Hou
Until we meet again,
Jeff, your Linda and Ohana

Jackie was a special lady so loving and friendly, we went thru school together and neighbors when the family had a TV business on Main St I lived on Meta st. She also sang at my wedding to John Moss in November 1946. So many happy memories when the kids were young and a group of us would go to Camp Comfort. What a wonderful life.

My very deepest sympathy to Jackie's family at her passing. Jackie and my late Mother, Virginia Calverley Davidson, were high school classmates at Ventura High School, both graduating in 1944. They enjoyed attending class reunions for many years. Mom always told me what a fun gal Jackie was and how her presence could light up a room. Rest in peace, Jackie!
Respectfully, Jan Davidson

What an amazing lady, my family was lucky enough to call her Gigi. A second grandmother to our son, Christmas parties at the beach house will always be cherished. Her homemade stories will linger forever in our hearts. Remember the tumbleweed story? I watched the faces of all the adults turn into children that day , handmade gifts for everyone. Singing Christmas songs by the beach, what a smile! That's how I will remember Gigi. Love always the Sayles family
