Jacqueline A. MacKenzie, 88, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018. She was the wife of the late Robert MacKenzie. Born in Burlington, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Bourassa) Fisher. Jackie lived in Burlington, Vermont before moving to Cumberland in 1965. She was a longtime volunteer at Mount Saint Rita Health Center. She is survived by her children, Robert MacKenzie, Richard MacKenzie and his fiance, Tana Padden, Robin MacKenzie and her boyfriend, John Jacobson, Randall MacKenzie and his wife, Terry, Rae Schofield and her husband, Jim, And Ronald MacKenzie and his wife Sue, fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings, Babe Langlois, Jeanne Lefebvre, Katie Fisher, Pat Mahaney, Nancy Akey, John Fisher, Robert Fisher, David Fisher, and Richard Fisher. She was the sister of the late Joseph Fisher, Mary Lou Messier, Janice Canole, and Cindy Lovejoy. The funeral will be held Tuesday, December 11th at 9AM from the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Monday from 5-8PM in the O’Neill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Antoine’s Special Care Unit, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI 02896, would be appreciated.
