Read MoreI was a server/bartender at the Beacon Club from 2012-2018 where Mrs. Schaefer was a member. I looked forward to seeing her come in for lunch usually once a week with friends. She always liked to be seated at "her usual table " in the library. She was a very polite and gracious woman and it was a pleasure to wait on her through the years.

I am a first cousin of Jacqeline Schaefer´s late husband, Dr. Donald Schaefer. I first met Jackie soon after their marriage in the late 50´s. They honeymooned in my home area in central, Pennsylvania. We renewed our connections, in recent years during their several trips to PA, as well as visiting them at their homes in Kalamazoo, MI, and Hilton Head, SC.
