Jackie was my first boss at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco in 1970, I was a young naive student, she mentored me and always was there to support me when I made mistakes.

I've been Jackie's hairstylist for the last 6 years. I haven't seen her in awhile and feared the worst. I joked with my partner that she'd never leave me she's my buddy! She truly was one of my very favorite clients amongst hundreds. I used to tell her all the time that I'd be working as long as she did, and that she was my work-ethic idol! Best aunt ever. She took my siblings and me skiing for the first time and it has become my favorite sport. Every kid should have a grown up who he/she can talk to when they can't talk to their parents. Aunt Jake was that for me and it carried into my later life as well.
