THE LIFE OF THE PARTY

DEAREST BURROUGHS FAMILY,
We AM TRULY SORRY & SADDENED @ THE LOSS WE
HAVE EXPERIENCED. WE CAN ONLY PRAY THAT YOU WILL DRAW STRENGTH FROM THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES WE HAVE. KNOW THAT PAULA, ABBIE & I WILL CONTINUE TO BE HERE FOR YOU AT ANY & ALL TIMES.
WE LOVE YOU ALL.

I was Jackie's sister-in-law, she called me Jackie #2 most of the time, unless I did something special, then I could temporarily be Jackie #1. We had a good time with that. I was married to her youngest brother for 53 years, but didn't know her at first, because of them living away from here. When I did get to know her, I was delighted with her personality, talent, and happiness with life. She taught me many things. I will miss her. Love to the family.

I can look can and remember Jackie singing on her Florida porch next door. She coached a friend in singing who had been cast as Dorothy at Kecoughtan High School production of the Wizard of Oz. That show was so successful running a week to sold out audience that we had to put on another week of it due to the demand for tickets. I like to think thats partly due to Jackie's help. I'll miss you.

We will miss the music of our lovely neighbor.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Liz and her family. I have very fond memories of Jackie from the days that Liz and I were in high school together. I recently caught back up with Liz, and got to see her and Jackie again after many, many years. Jackie was just as I remember her - vivacious, gracious and entertaining. I know that her family will miss her greatly.

While visiting my parents, I used to hear Jackie vocalizing and singing up a storm, especially tunes from one of my favorite music eras "Big Band." My sisters Janet, Jeanne, Jackie, Judith, and I shall miss Jackie immensely.

My heart goes out to Liz for the loss of her mom. Liz, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
