As I watched the South Side Irish parade, I couldn't stop thinking of Jacque. She was a true south-sider: fiercely loyal to her family members and friends. I enjoyed our phone conversations and her wit very much. She remembered my mother on every holiday and she was thoughtful and reached out to people we both worked with at Mercantile forty years ago.
