JACQUELINE "JACKIE" WALUKONIS

Growing up on Eastland Rd. in Roosevelt Park, Ed was my 1st ever best friend and Jackie was my 2nd Mom. Lot of great memories. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

Jackie seems like a wonderful lady and must have been a terrific mom since her son Bill turned out so well. I'm sorry that your family lost her. She will be remembered fondly by the many people that she touched.

I remember when I was really young having family gathering with the Walukonis's, Harris's, Holmstrom's with my Grandma, Madeline (Riegler) Frazine. Cousin Jackie was always gracious to me and my brother. Later on I would see her at different functions and she was very pleasant, gracious as always. May God bless her soul.

How proud you must have been of your Mother!

I will always have a fond memory of my third and fourth grade teacher at St Francis. She recognized I had a voice at a that age and encouraged it and to this day I am most grateful. Janet my deepest condolences I know how close you two were and how you followed in her footsteps. Mary, I´m so sorry for the loss of your `sib´ I know that strange feeling,losing a sib is different. I am so sad that we can not come and honor Jackie! She was such a special lady! We (The Cottages at Martin Lake) we honored to care for her. She wasn´t with us long but made a huge impression and lots of friends! She had quite a history and life and was a joy to be around! Love and prayers to the family at this time.

I am so sorry to learn of Jackie's passing. She was a lovely, sweet person whom I met when she lived at The Village at Park Terrrace. My sincere condolences to her family.
