We are never ready for goodbyes to this greatest generation, even when we have faith that families will be together again. (My late dad, Ralph Connor Sr., too, worked for Savannah News/Press during Archie Whitfield, Tom Coffey, and Frank Rossiter years my dad's only employer from street paper boy to State Circulation Manager except for WWII service.)
