I remember Mom Wyman best when I joined South Congregational Church of Hartford, CT on Palm Sunday of 1986. I had married into the Wyman family, who all grew up in this church. When I joined the church, Jackie gave me a card saying, "Welcome to your extended family." Not only did I have birth family now, but a family from marriage and now I understood about the Christian church family.
