She was the greatest teacher I ever had. A loving, caring, strict disciplinarian was Miss Hester.
Lake Tech Accounting Class of 1980/81 played an April Fool's joke on her when she walked out of her office into the class, absolutely no one was there. She went looking for us all over the campus, and finally found us in the Canteen. We all had a good laugh, and went back to our studies. She always told us about the Tortuga, and brought in the life saver as well!
