Jackie McNeill was everything to so many people. First was the love of her family. We loved them, too. We loved Jackie. I always wanted to hear her sing. She was so very talented. We performed on stage together at the Lexington Arts Assocation. Wonderful times. We had many trips together and loved sharing time at the beach. One of our special treats was traveling together to New York to see Yul Brynner's last performance in the King and I. We laughed at the good times and cried...

Mrs. McNeill would sub in the chorus class at Airport High School many years ago for Brenda McGowan when I was a student. She was a very kind, sweet lady. I am grateful our paths crossed. I will remember her fondly.

What a delightful lady and friend! Professionally, Jackie helped our school, Herbert A. Wood Elementary in many arts ventures, always willing to assist, encourage, and support. As a friend, Jackie and I had many hilarious adventures revolving around the arts. We were room-mates in the freshman dorm at Furman University for a week working on grants for the arts and the SC Governor's School for the Arts.
