Jacquelyn Eve "Jackie" O'Mealey

Jackie was a very good friend when we both lived in Hydaburg. And we kept in touch after we both moved away. It was such a pleasure to her and daughter Kelly visit here in Wasilla a few years ago. Although we hadn't seen eacy other for about 50 years we talked like it had been just yeaterday. I am sad that she is gone.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jackie's death. We had been friends for 55 years. But we hadn't seen each other for 53 years when she visited in Alaska two years ago with her daughter, Kelly and Kelly's son. It was like we'd never been apart, like those 53 years hadn't happened. We had met when we both lived in Hydaburg, Alaska in 1967. Those were some good years and Jackie was part of what made them good. Rest in Peace, dear Jackie. Love you, Joanne
