You were the most supportive and caring big sister. We are coming up on the two year anniversary of the day you left this physical world. It still hurts and you are missed so much by everyone in the family. I thought about the time you bought Angel and I bikes for Christmas and hid them behind the pocket doors of the old house on Panola St. It was just like you to do something so generous and loving.. it´s how you spent your life. You shined by example of how peaceful a human being could be....

Darlene never missed a family gathering and I always looked forward to seeing her. She beamed as she kissed and hugged everyone because she was happiest when surrounded by her beloved friends and family. Never wanting to be the center of attention, she would sit quietly and soak up all the love her amazing family had for her. She will always be with them because there was nothing more important in the world to her Rest in peace, Darlene, knowing we were all blessed having you in our lives.
