Sami, Kathy, Marco, Magee and Asa, Thinking of you all. Sincere condolences. A community mourns and remembers, Suellen (Tumbling)

My late husband, Norman, and I met Jacques, Sammy, Albear and Mama in the mid 1980's when they "won" our agency's advertising services through The James Beard Foundation. (Or that's how the story goes.) Over the years, we spent wonderful hours, meals and memories together. Being with them was like walking into a hug. I am deeply saddened by the loss of Jacques. Single Memorial Tree

I am so sorry to hear about Jacques. Our family has so many fond memories of Jacques and the Capsouto family at Capsouto Freres. My condolences to Sam and his family.

A Good friend for over 35 years! He will be missed! We drank lots of wine together over the years. He lived his dream of making his own wine in Israel!

A great friend who helped to restore our life here after 9/11. He and Albert worked tirelessly with our students at NY Restaurant School to feed the first responders that same week. He reinvented himself as a major vintner later in his life. Always had time to answer questions and give help. My sincere condolences to Sami and his family.

Jacques was a warm, family loving, person. Baruch Dayan Emet.
