Not sure what to say?

It was sad to learn of Jacques recent passing. I have very fond memories of his time at the Model basing in the 60s-70s until his retirement. He was a friendly mentor who led me into a lifetime career in Hydrodynamics and Propulsion.

He will be missed by all of us who knew him.

Farewell Jack.

It was my privilege to have you as my Supervisor and Mentor during the formative years of my career at the David Taylor Model Basin. What an extraordinary life you lived. My condolences to all the Hadler Family.

Dear Hadler family,

Ken & I feel very fortunate to have been with and gotten to know your father, first in Pakistan, then China, and, most recently at Meli's wedding, and then at Rachel's. He led quite an interesting and rich life. Know that we are thinking of you all during this time of loss.

A truly engaging and intelligent man whom I had the pleasure of meeting through SNAME. Always striving to both learn and teach. A great individual who will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear about Jacques' passing. I was fortunate and privileged to meet him on a few occasions over the years and he was always most friendly and polite towards me.
