Jacques M. Joseph

Mr. Jacques M. Joseph, of Malden, passed away surrounded by his family on July 28, 2022, he was 68. Born in Petit Desdunes, Haiti he was the third of ten children born to Resinette (Hilaire) and Josius Joseph. Jacques immigrated to the United States in 1978, first to New Jersey and then settling in the Boston area. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Suzette (Vincent) Joseph for 41 years.

He was the devoted father of Marie Claudine Joseph, Cynthia Bredy , Gregory Vincent Joseph, Shelley Joseph Edouard, Ralph Joseph, Herla Altenor and his bonus children, Marie Mathieu, Garvens Noel, Nerlande Prevelon and Daphne Edouard and their spouses, Mike Bredy, Fabiola Joseph, Fedler Edouard, David Altenor, Jonas Darilus.

Loving grandfather of Lamar Damestoir, Philippe Damestoir, Jaylen Bredy, Haelle Bredy, Kelsey Edouard, Elijah Edouard.

Dear brother of Charles Vertidieu, Examèn , Bernadette, Oreste, Louisina, Jacques, Kesner, Jerome, Kerline, Pierre Marc Joseph and the late Amelie. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 6th in the Holy Bible Baptist Church, 64 College Ave, Somerville, MA beginning at 8:30AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. The Church requests that face masks are mandatory for all those attending. Additional funeral parking will be available in the funeral home parking lot. Services will conclude with burial at Forestdale Cemetery, 150 Forest St, Malden, MA 02148. A reception will follow at Anthony’s Function Hall, 105 Canal Street, Malden.
